It’s embarrassing to admit but…
I remember when I thought I used to (think) I sucked at art…
So much so that it prevented me from exploring this therapeutic creative outlet for years!
In fact, I thought in order for me to do art, it had to be perfect, Piscasso level. ( I know…)
In hindsight, I wish I could go back in time, & have the truth I know now about art…
Now am I saying I’m the absolute best at making art today? Of course not!
Far from it.
Yet the point I’m striving to make is: letting go of perfectionism, allowed me to enjoy all the benefits therapeutic art has to offer!
