Winter and I have a hate-love relationship.
First, we’re overloaded with the festivities of the holidays, but after the rush is over the doom and gloom really sets in…
Maybe like me, during winter you tend to feel more:
- Fatigued
- Complacent
- Depressed / Lack of motivation
- Just plain bored!
If that’s the case, this is the perfect excuse to pick up a new hobby or creative passion since we normally spend more time indoors, anyway.
So, what can adults for indoor hobbies?
The first step is finding your perfect match!
How?
Just make a list of everything you used to love as a child.
This could be different anything sports, subjects, food, games, books, art rituals.
Now quickly write down 5-10 things you have a slight curiosity about.
For me, it’s gardening! I’m interested in learning more about it but it’s something I’ve put on the back burner.
See we’re simply reviving what type of activities spark your inner explorer.
That way it’s not pressure to be perfect, and if it doesn’t work out, that’s okay. This is just to your creative juices flowing, to find your indoor hobbies match in heaven.
And if you need more inspo:
Here are 20 new hobbies to try out this winter season ( ps- your inner child will thank you!)
